FOCAFellowships Opening Reception

and Dean of the Arts and Humanities at Point Loma Nazarene University

A biennial artist grant program begun in 2006, the FOCAFellowships have supported eleven mid-career artists to date. Three nominators from the California art community: Jose Luis Blondet, LACMA; Kristina Newhouse, CSULB; and Sara Cannon, LA Municipal Art Gallery each nominated ten mid-career artists for the award. Jurors Elizabeth Gerber, LACMA; Alma L. Ruiz; and Irene Tsatsos, Armory Center for the Arts made the final selections.

The exhibition will be open for viewing Mondays through Fridays from 10:00am -5:00pm until April 24, 2017.
